Energy harvesting

PV panels are currently installed on the roof of Engineering Building D-Wing. The roof of D-Wing provides a large unutilized space, and most of its area receives unobstructed sunlight during the day. In addition, D-Wing is a two-story structure, so the PV panels are visible from the nearby roads classrooms, and laboratories in A- and E-Wings. This will help bring public awareness to the project and the use of renewable energy at SIUC.
